Winter Immunity Juice

In California, where I live, citrus goes OFF in the winter. Our farmers markets are full of gorgeous varietals of citrus, including my favorite Cara Cara and Blood Oranges, but also Clementine, Mandarins, Kumquats, Meyer lemons, Persian limes, Key limes, and many others.  The winter is also the time when everyone gets sick.  It can be challenging to keep the immune system strong and resilient when seemingly everyone is walking around with a cold, cough, or the beginnings of a wicked flu.

This fresh juice is really great to help boost the immune system and keep us healthy.

Note: Best to drink this alone and not combine with meals.

Juice Ingredients*:

3-4 farmers market carrots (washed and scrubbed)

1 thumb (peeled) fresh turmeric root

1 Cara Cara orange

1 thumb (peeled) Ginger Root 

*EVERYTHING ORGANIC IF POSSIBLE
